REAL TEENS – We are made up of the same kids you see in school everyday.  We have the same problems, like the same things, and have the same questions about life that everyone our age does.  We are not perfect and we’re not looking for perfect students to be in our group, but we have found God meets us where we are, accepts us, and helps us in our lives.

REAL FAITH – Putting on a front is tiresome.  So many teens are tired of putting on the face that’s expected of them by their friends, bosses, teachers and parents, that they don’t have time or energy for a “church” mask too.  Our teens are too busy to “play church”.  Faith isn’t about what you wear or how you look, it’s a response to God.  At first, things might look “churchy” from the outside, but our worship is real and it’s all about the real God who moves in our lives daily.  Real faith is life transforming.

REAL ACTION – Teens have an abundance of energy and they want to make a difference.  The Bible says our faith will result in actions.  As our lives are transformed by faith, we become a catalysts for change.  The world has too many pew sitters in churches.  God’s not looking for more bench warmers.  We give opportunities to exercise faith at church, in our community, and across the globe.

Ephesians 5:8closeEphesians 5:8 For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. . . . (ESV)   For you were once darkness, but now you are light.  Walk as children of light.

Our theme verse tells us we were once part of the problem.  Before God impacted our lives, we didn’t understand Him.  Once He became a part of our lives, He changed us and sent us to help others with their life’s direction.  To put it bluntly:  God impacted us to IMPACT the world.
